The 2711PC-B4C20D8 PanelView Plus Compact is an operator interface device by which allows for full machine interface using the 3.5-inch color LCD touchscreen with a diagonal display area of 2.8 x 2.1in and a display resolution of 320 x 240. The 2711PC-B4C20D8 offers users a display brightness of 200 cd/m2 Nits and an LED backlight with a standby time of about 50,000 hours. It also allows users to input information through the Functional (F1 to F8), Navigational, and Numerical Poly-domed membrane Keypad with 1 million presses actuation rating and 340G operational force. It comes with a ±2 minutes per month accuracy and a battery-aided internal clock with 5 years of battery life at 25 °C. The 2711PC-B4C20D8 stores users' programmed application settings in the 512MB (expandable) internal flash memory, and uses the 256MB RAM for processing applications.

The 2711PC-B4C20D8 uses the Windows 6.0 CE Operating System and comes with Factory Talk View Machine Edition Software. Users’ applications are programmed using the Factory Talk View Studio software through a PC connected via the RS-232 serial communication port. Connection with other peripheral devices is achieved through the USB 2.0 port, and it also has a base 10/100 Ethernet port for Network Communication. The 2711PC-B4C20D8 uses a DC power source, with a supply rating of 18-30V DC input voltage and 25W (max.) power consumption at 24V DC and 1.0A. It dissipates 84 BTU/Hr heat when operational, and is enclosed in a NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X and IP65 rated enclosure. It can be installed at an altitude of about 2000m without de-rating and is built to withstand an operational shock of 15G at 11ms. The 2711PC-B4C20D8 weighs approximately 1.24lb and its dimensions are 6 x 7.28 x 3.54in.
