The 2711P-K6M3A PanelView Plus 600 Human-Machine-interface (HMI) allows for a convenient interface for managing applications. It provides interface and control through the stainless-steel navigational, functional (F1-F10), and numerical keys with a shock resistance of 340G and a 10-million press actuation rating. The 2711P-K6M3A allows users to graphically view a machine’s status through the 5.7-inches monochrome passive matrix FSTN screen with a 320 x 240, 32-level grayscale display resolution and a brightness of 300 cd/m2 Nits. It has a display area of 4.37in x 3.3in and it comes with a Cold-Cathode-Fluorescence Backlight (CCFL) with a maximum standby time of 50,000 hours. The 2711P-K6M3A has an internal, non-volatile memory capacity of 64MB. There is also 64MB of RAM for application processing. It has an NEC VR5532A MIPS CPU with 350 MHz processing power and it uses the pre-installed FactoryTalk View ME Station (runtime) software which supports all FactoryTalk View applications (version 3.20-5.10).

The 2711P-K6M3A has a battery-backed internal clock with a maximum battery life of 5 years, and it supports an external compact flash memory of 256MB. It uses the base-configured 10/100MBPS EtherNet and serial RS-232 communication ports and it may use a DH-485 (communication module) for an extended DH-485 modular communication interface. The 2711P-K6M3A requires an AC power source, with input ratings of 85-264V AC at 47-63Hz and a power output of 60VA max. It can use an external power source with 85-264V AC input voltage, and a 120VA max power at 47-63Hz. It has a factory-designated 0-55 °C (32-131 °F) working temperature range at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity. It is enclosed with a NEMA 12, 13, 4X, IP65-rated enclosure. The 2711P-K6M3A has an average weight of 930g (2.05lb) and net dimensions of 167mm x 266mm x 98mm (6.58 x 10.47 x 3.86in).
