The Omron CJ2H-CPU65-EIP (CJ2HCPU65EIP) is a CJ2 input output control module with EtherNet IP points. The control module has a user memory of 50,000 steps and its number of input output points is 2,560. The program capacity 100,000 steps while the data memory capacity is 160,000 words which is divided into data memory(DM) of 32,000 and extended memory (EM) of 32,000 word and 4 banks.

The CJ2H-CPU65-EIP control module can be connected to up to 10 units as the maximum is it is hitched to either a CPU rack or an expansion rack. However, the total number of PLCs that it can hitch with is 40 modules maximum. The CJ2H-CPU65-EIP module also utilizes the CJ1W-BAT01 battery that is put into the battery compartment. Since the communication control is an Omron product, it is rightly joined to an Omron configuration. In this configuration, the positioning of the CPU is placed between I/O units and a power supply. Since it is neither a power supply nor an external I/O, end covers are unnecessary for this particular module.

The CJ2H-CPU65-EIP control module has three ports with different functions. The first port is the EtherNet IP, allowing the CPU to connect with a host computer so that the computer may control and manage the EtherNet Network. Then, there is the serial port which is used to connect to programming devices (which may include a host computer) and other external mechanisms via an adapter. The peripheral port of the CJ2H-CPU65-EIP employs a USB cable to likewise connect with a programming device i.e. the CX-programmer.
